Pumpkin Carving

Here's a few pics of Waylon carving pumpkins for the first time. He was really into it and had alot of fun!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Happy Halloween. Waylon was a cowboy this year. He looked so cute and really got into his role. Maybe he was more like The Sheriff!!!! Too cute. We went in our new neighborhood with his cousins Justin, Lauren and Caitlyn. He really understood what it all meant this year. He ran as fast as he could to each door and held out his candy bucket. Sometimes he even said Trick or Treat!!! Can't wait till next year.

The Pumpkin Patch

10/17/09: Today we went to the Farmstead Pumpkin Patch. We went with Jason, Krissy, Justin & Lauren. It was so fun. There was a Pig race, the Corn box full of corn kernels. Waylon loved that. There was also a corn maze, pony rides, pedal carts, slides and a huge Jumping pillow and a cow train. The kids had a blast. Then there was the big Pumpkin patch, Waylon was so cute, he was so excited to pick his own pumpkin. He kept saying, "big pumpkin, little pumpkin" And he picked his own that he really liked. Now we just need to carve it. I wonder how he will do with that.

Waylon's 3rd Birthday

10/12/09: Today we had Waylon's 3rd birthday and Grandma & Grandpa Flud's house. Most of his cousins were there. Waylon got to ride HIS new dirt bike for the first time. Daddy put training wheels on it for him. Custom made!!! He was so excited to ride it finally. Especially seeing Justin & Lauren riding theirs. He was not a fan of the helmet at first, but got over it quickly. Justin even rode with him to help him out at first. he still needs a bit of practice, but I am sure will catch on soon.

Then we had Nacho bar with all the fixens for dinner...yummy!!! Then we opened presents. Waylon got a ton of great gifts. He was excited about. His favorite was the new Magnadoodle and his Radio Flyer scooter.

After gifts we sung Happy Birthday and Waylon was shy having everyone singing to him. He was hiding his face in my neck. Daddy had to help blow the candle out. Maybe next year he will get that himself. We had cake and ice cream. He had a "Cars" cake which he loved. he mainly ate the red icing only. Some of the pictures show him with a red tinted mouth. He loved the icing.

Last we played pin the tail on the donkey. He liked doing this too, however he liked watching the other kids do it more. All in all he had a great birthday.
